Our Purpose
Our purpose is to issue Marriage Licenses to
Hamilton County residents who wish to marry in Ohio, and those
out of state residents wishing to marry here in Hamilton County.
The Probate Court has also been entrusted to keep and maintain
records of said marriages. Our goal is to serve the public
in the most helpful and courteous manner possible.
Office Profile
Marriage License is a Department of the Hamilton
County Probate Court, which in turn, is a division of the Hamilton
County Court of Common Pleas.
All of our staff are Deputy Clerks that have
taken an oath from Probate Court Judge, James Cissell. The Honorable
Judge Cissell was elected by the citizens of Hamilton County. Our
staff was chosen for their excellent customer service.
