Birth Registration and Correction Additional Information
  • Since November 21, 1974 Birth Registration and Birth Correction journal entries have been recorded with other types of daily journal entries and are no longer kept in separate journals.

  • Birth Registration/Correction Volumes 1 through 52 (June 5, 1941 - June 30, 1968) are recorded on microfilm. Please contact the Probate Court (513)-946-3551 to view or obtain copies of these documents.

  • Birth Registration: Based upon evidence presented to the court to show proof of birth after the fact, a court order affirming these facts is filed and a birth certificate can be created.

  • Birth Correction: Based upon evidence presented to the court showing the error(s) made to the original birth certificate and the corrections needed, a court order affirming these facts is filed and a new birth certificate can be created.
